2023-2024 Wrap-up

Another great season is finished.

Congrats to the Habs for winning the league and playoffs. A rare double championship.

Congrats to Derek Gee for being awarded the inaugural Gord Finlay Player of the Year award. Fitting that Derek assisted the GWG in the championship game. Derek has announced he’s retiring on top. Derek, you will be missed on the ice but we expect to see you up in the bar.

Congrats to all the players in this league who make this league such a fun league to play in.

Hope to see you all back next year.

Have a great summer everyone.

Cheers,

Lennie the Stats Guy

Simons 2022-2023 Conclusion

Hi Simons players,

That’s a wrap for another great season.

Thanks to Commish John and the captains, Ferdie, James, Paul, Robbie, Vinnie and Zack for their hard work.  Also Steve and Eric P. for their league support.

Congrats to the Red Wings for winning the league with a 11-5-4 record.  Well done, Wings.

Congrats to the Bruins for winning the playoffs.  Great job, Bruins.

The finals were a hard-fought battle, with great chances at both ends with outstanding goaltending by both goalies.  I believe it was the first time in Simons history that the score was 0-0 at the end of regulation time.

After 6 rounds of shoot-out, the Bruins prevailed for the win.

Hope to see you all next year.

Keep an eye on your inbox for emails from John for the 2023-2024 season.

See you all at the draft party in September.

Have a great summer.

Simons 2021-2022 Conclusion

Hi Simons players,

That’s a wrap for a great season. For the first post-pandemic season, it went really really well.

Thanks to commish John and the captains, Ferdie, James, Paul, Robbie, Vinnie and Zack.

Without their hard work, we wouldn’t have had a season.

Congrats to the Rangers for winning the league and playoffs. Well done Rangers.

Hope to see you all next year.

Keep an eye on your inbox for emails from John for the 2022-2023 season.

If all goes well, you might even have a draft party again.

Have a great summer.

2020 Playoff Standings

Hi Guys,

The 2020 playoff standings are posted now.

From the menu bar look for Standings > Playoffs 2020.

I’m looking to add the player statistics for the playoffs as well.

Thanks,

Welcome to the 2019-2020 Season

Hi Guys

The 2019-2020 Simons Hockey League website is up and running. Thanks to Eric P. for all of his expertise in updating the website and removing the malware. Also Eric was able to fix the bug where players didn’t show on their proper team.
Once I have all the jersey numbers, the stats page will be updated.

If you see something that doesn’t look right, please let me know.

P.S. If your number is wrong, it might just be your last years number and I don’t have an update.
